Effect of Exercising in Student's Heart Rate

Do you often exercise? If not, you should start exercising right now! Students often spend most of their time sitting down studying. Even if they have leisure times to do other things that studying, they normally lay down in their bed watching dramas and looking into their SNS accounts. Now, it is time to change your bad habits. You need to get up on your feet, go outside and exercise as much as you can. According to several different studies done by several different universities, it is proven that blood pressure as well as heart rate of individuals who have consistently done exercises remained low compared to those who have not done exercises. Moreover, it took less time for those who have consistently done exercises to come back to their normal heart rate and blood pressure after doing exercises.

According to the research, the results shows that in average, heart rate of students who have done exercises is 122.7 after doing 20 jumping jacks. In average, the heart rate of students who have not done exercises consistently is 139.9, about 17.2 difference. The result showed that students who have done exercises consistently were able to maintain their heart rate quite low compared to those who have not done exercises consistently since they were already trained in doing such amount of exercises. The result shows that exercising consistently helps maintaining one’s health stably and healthily.

Moreover, it took about 73 more seconds for students who have not done exercises consistently to bring their heart rate back to the normal after doing 20 jumping jacks. Students who have done exercises consistently thought it was fairly easy to complete 20 jumping jacks and reset their heart rate to normal. This was because they were already trained of doing certain number of exercises beforehand. The results supported that if students do exercises consistently throughout their lifetime, they could easily maintain their health healthily. As a student, being healthy is equivalent to getting good grades and improving their academic abilities.

Look around yourself. Are students around you spending time to exercise per day? Ask yourself. Are you exercising consistently throughout your free time? If answers to these questions are ‘no’, tell your peers and yourself to use their free time wisely by exercising. Always have in mind that keeping your body healthy is equivalent to getting good grades and improving your academic abilities.
